The base powertrain of the 2022 XT6 lineup is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The XT6 is also available with a larger 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. A nine-speed automatic transmission is paired with both engines to deliver their power to the model's standard front-wheel drive drivetrain. An all-wheel-drive drivetrain is also available for the XT6.

Drivers who favor fuel efficiency rather than raw power will appreciate the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine of the 2022 Cadillac XT6 rather than the available 3.6-liter V6 engine. Both engines are fuel-efficient, however, with the 2.0-liter engine capable of achieving up to 21 miles per gallon in the city and 27 miles per gallon on the highway. The XT6's larger 3.6-liter V6 engine is capable of achieving up to 19 miles per gallon in the city and 26 miles per gallon on the highway.

    Passenger Volume and Cargo Space

    The 2022 Cadillac XT6 is equipped with three rows of seats, allowing the model to provide seating for seven people. If desired, the bench row of seats that is standard in the 2022 XT6 can be replaced with two large captain's chairs, allowing the SUV to more-comfortably seat six people. The new Cadillac XT6 provides 149.9 cubic feet of space for its passengers and up to 78.7 cubic feet of space for cargo in its cabin. With all of its seats in their upright positions, the 2022 XT6 can carry 12.6 cubic feet of cargo behind its third row.

      The 2022 Cadillac XT6 features an upscale interior that is lined with high-quality materials and upholstery. A tri-zone automatic climate control system is standard for the lineup of 2022 XT6 models. The front seats of every new Cadillac XT6 are also heated.         An 8.0-inch touchscreen display provides access to the infotainment system of the 2022 Cadillac XT6. A premium fourteen-speaker audio system is available for the XT6 Premium Luxury and XT6 Sport trim levels.
